  • For CPSEs employees: Retired from pay scale equivalent to E-6 level and above (as per 3rd PRC).

The assigned duties for Advisors vary by station:

For Directorate of Engg-NR at CHQ:

  • Monitoring project progress in planning and execution stages.

  • Preparation of MIS reports for ongoing projects.

  • Assisting in presentation to higher authorities.

  • Coordination with MoCA, Ministry of Environment and Forest, Ministry of Defence, state government departments, and other agencies.

  • Assisting in preparation of tender documents, specifications, Technical Instructions, and technical circulars.

  • Site visits for resolving planning and execution issues.

  • Suggesting value engineering practices for timely project completion.

  • Assisting in preparation/finalization of DPR for new projects.

  • Performing day-to-day works as assigned by ED Engg-NR.

For Kota Project Airport:

  • Coordination with District Administration Kota and Bundi, Kota Development Authority, Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Forest Deptt Bundi, Public Health Engineering Department, Wild Life Department Bundi, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), State Pollution Department, MoEFCC, and Revenue State Department for various issues including land acquisition, utility shifting, clearances, and project implementation.

For Pant Nagar Project Airport:

  • Coordination with Uttarakhand government, Electricity department, Public Health Engineering Department, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Revenue state department, and District administration for issues related to land, utility shifting, waste disposal, clearances, and project implementation.

Selection Process: AAI Career Selection

Remuneration and Benefits: AAI Advisor Salary

  • Monthly Remuneration: 50% of the last Basic Pay Drawn (i.e., Basic Salary + Dearness Allowance).

  • Transportation Charges (on claim basis, inclusive of all taxes):

    • Up to Rs. 40,000/- per month for retired Central/State Government/E-8 and above employees.

    • Up to Rs. 30,000/- per month for E-6 & E-7 level retired employees.

    • Provision of AAI transport may also be included.

  • Broadband and Mobile Charges (on claim basis, inclusive of all taxes):

    • Rs. 1,500/- per month for retired Central/State Government/E-8 and above employees.

    • Rs. 1,000/- per month for E-6 & E-7 level retired employees.

Other Terms: AAI Contract Jobs

  • Period of Engagement: The initial tenure for Advisors will be 11 months.

  • Medical Examination: Selected individuals will need to undergo a medical examination at their own cost to ensure fitness for re-engagement.

  • Leave: Advisors are entitled to 1.5 days of leave per month. Accumulated leave cannot be carried forward to the next calendar year.

  • Integrity: Advisors must uphold good character and integrity.

  • TA/DA: For official work outside the prescribed place of posting, TA/DA will be payable as per their entitlement/eligibility at the time of retirement. No other allowances will be admissible.

  • Termination Notice: AAI can terminate the contract at any point without reason, generally with one month's notice. Advisors can also terminate their contract by giving one month's notice.
