Age Limit for Anganwadi Recruitment
Applicants must be between 19 and 35 years old.
A relaxation of 10 years is provided for disabled candidates.
Educational Qualification Needed for Anganwadi Posts
Anganwadi Worker: Must have passed PUC and studied Kannada as the first or second language in SSLC. Preference is given to candidates with ECCE Diploma from DSERT, JOC, NTT, Diploma in Nutrition, Home Science Certificate Course, One-year nursery training, or pre-primary training.
Anganwadi Helper: Must have passed SSLC or equivalent. If studied in other states and have Kannada language, such candidates can also apply.
If the candidate has studied in another state but with Kannada as the first/second language, and there's a difference in the maximum and minimum marks set by that state compared to Karnataka, only candidates who have studied in Karnataka will be considered.
Bonus Marks: Candidates with relevant diplomas or certificates get +5 bonus marks.

Local Residency Requirement for Anganwadi Recruitment

A residence certificate from the competent authority is required.
Electoral Wards are not considered here.
The residence must be certified by the Tahsildar/Deputy Tahsildar with a three-year residency certificate along with supporting documents like Aadhar card, Ration card, or Voter ID.
Residents belonging to "Majire, Tanda, Hatti" need to submit their stay certificate.
