Eligibility Criteria for Career 2026
Qualification requirements vary significantly across the different groups:
Research Officer (Group A): Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS) in relevant Unani system or M.D. in Pathology/Physiology from recognized institutions.
Staff Nurse: B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing or Regular B.Sc. Nursing, or Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery with 1 year of experience.
Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Degree from a recognized University with working knowledge of computers.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th Class pass and a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th) pass or ITI pass in relevant subjects.
Stenographer Grade-III: Matriculation pass with shorthand speed of 80 wpm and typing speed of 40 wpm.
Staff Car Driver: Matriculation pass, valid driving license for LMV/HMV, and 3 years of experience.
Age Limit for Recruitment 2026
The upper age limits for various posts are as follows (relaxations apply as per Govt. rules):
Research Officer (Group A): Not exceeding 40 years.
Staff Nurse / Assistant Research Officer: Not exceeding 35 years.
UDC / LDC / Stenographer / MTS: Between 18 and 27 years.

Selection Process for Jobs
Group A Posts: Computer Based Test (70 marks) followed by an Interview (30 marks).
Group B & C Posts: Selection is based purely on a Computer Based Test (100 marks).
Skill Tests: Mandatory qualifying tests for LDC, Stenographer, Staff Car Driver, and Hindi Assistant.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the CBT (except for MTS post).
