Qualification Criteria : Educational Qualification required

  • Graduate (Technical): Regular 4 Years/3 Years (Lateral Entry) B.E/B.Tech degree in the respective Branch of Engineering & Technology from any recognized University/Board.

  • Graduate (Non-Technical): Regular 3 Years B.A/B.Com./B.Sc. degree from any recognized University.

  • Diploma (Technician): Regular 3 Years/2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma in respective branch, approved by State Board of Technical Education & AICTE.

Eligibility Requirements : Who can Apply

  • Candidate must be an Indian national.

  • Candidates must have passed B.E/B.Tech/B.A/B.Com./B.Sc./B.B.A/B.C.A / Diploma in the year - 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024.

  • Candidates belonging to Odisha State are only eligible to apply.

  • Candidates should possess a passing certificate as on the date of the application as per BOPT guidelines. Candidates with "Appearing" or "Result awaited" status are not eligible. Candidates with pending back papers or whose supplementary exam results are awaited are not eligible to apply.

  • Candidates who are undergoing apprenticeship training in other places or already completed apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply.

    The apprenticeship program is for a duration of one year, as per the Apprentices Act, 1961. During this period, candidates will receive hands-on training in their respective branches/disciplines.

    Candidates need to upload scanned copies of their original documents on the NATS 2.0 portal profile, including Aadhaar Card, Degree/Diploma Passing Certificate, and Bank Passbook. Candidates from reserved categories should also submit Caste/Income or disability certificates, if applicable.

  • Will HAL provide accommodation and travel allowance?

    Candidates must arrange their accommodation and travel for the selection process. HAL will not provide TA/DA. However, hostel facilities may be provided to out-station candidates, subject to availability after joining the apprenticeship.
