Educational Qualification: Requirements for the position
Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Science or Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
Ph.D. thesis submitted in Science is also eligible.
Experience: Proven experience conducting field sampling activities is required. Prior experience using high-throughput sequencing such as Illumina sequencing chemistry is desirable.

The project aims to understand the responses of deep-sea microbial communities to changes in depth, salinity, and other stressors.
The research will utilize both uncultured ('omics') and cultured approaches.
