Age Limit: Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Age: 20 years

  • Maximum Age: 28 years

  • Cut-off Date for Age Calculation: July 1, 2025

  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD.

  • 5 years for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates

  • 3 years for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates

  • 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities

  • 5 years for Persons affected by 1984 riots

  • Age concession up to the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

Educational Qualification: Essential Requirements

  • A Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government.

  • Candidates should have completed & have passing certificate for their graduation on or after 01.04.2021.

Application Fees: Non-Refundable Charges

  • General/OBC/EWS candidates: ₹800/- plus GST

  • SC/ST/PwBD candidates: ₹175/- plus GST

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Can I apply for multiple states?

    • No, a candidate can apply for only one state. If multiple applications are submitted, only the latest valid application will be retained, and the fees for other applications will be forfeited.

  • What if I belong to the OBC category, but come under the creamy layer?

    • Candidates belonging to the OBC category but falling under the creamy layer are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as General in the online application form. It is mandatory to possess a valid OBC certificate with a Non-creamy layer clause.

  • What is the selection process for the apprentice program?

    • The selection process consists of an Online Test and a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). The Online Test includes Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness with Special Reference to the Banking Industry. Candidates who qualify in the online test have to appear for LLPT.
