Essential Qualifications
Syrang:
10th pass from a recognized Institute or Board.
Syurang Certificate granted under Inland Vessels Act, 2021 which has been superseeded by Inland Vessels Act, 1917 or Merchant Shipping Act 1958.
Two years experience as Syrang-in-Charge of a registered vessel of twenty horse power.
Lascar:
10th pass from a recognized Institute or Board.
Knowledge of swimming.
Fireman:
10th pass from a recognized Institute or Board.
Knowledge of swimming.
Certificate of having completed pre-sea training course.
Topass:
10th pass from a recognized Institute or Board.
Knowledge of swimming.
