Educational Qualification for Career 2026
To be eligible for this vacancy, candidates must meet one of the following essential qualification criteria:
Ph.D. in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Physics, or Applied Physics with Meteorology or equivalent subjects.
OR ME/M.Tech in Atmospheric Science or Ocean sciences with at least 3 years of research experience and at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal related to Atmospheric, Oceanic, or Climate Sciences.
Additional Requirements:
For ME/M.Tech holders, a first-class degree with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA) is mandatory.
Pre-qualification (BE/B.Tech/MSc) must also be in the first class with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA.
Age Limit for Recruitment 2026
