Educational Qualification for Recruitment 2026
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications in the relevant trade/discipline:
Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in the specified trade from recognized institutions (NCVT/SCVT).
Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the specified trade.
Three years Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, IT, etc.) from a recognized University/Institute.
Note: Candidates with higher qualifications like BE/BTech are only eligible if they also possess the required ITI or Diploma. Candidates having only BE/BTech without ITI/Diploma are not eligible.
Eligibility Criteria for Technician Jobs
Experience: Minimum 02 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field within Operations & Maintenance departments of Indian Railways, Government-owned Railways, Metro Railways, or RRTS systems.
