To be eligible for the post of Lecturer, a candidate must fulfill the following criteria:
Age Limit:
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 42 years as on September 1, 2023.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, Women, and Ex-Servicemen categories.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 yearsfor candidates belonging to PwD category whose disability is not less than 40%.
10 years of age relaxation on the basis of every complete year of continuous service either as guest faculty, management employee, block grant in any of the Govt. or Aided colleges (*2 or +3) will be allowed subject to a maximum age limit of 55 years
Educational Qualification:
A candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade on the date of application.
A candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, SEBC, and/or PwD should possess a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or its equivalent grade on the date of application.
