Eligibility Criteria for the Law Faculty Positions
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
Associate Professor: 45 years (with age relaxation for prior experience)
Assistant Professor & Assistant Professor (Pre-Law): 40 years (with age relaxation for prior experience)
Age relaxation available for differently-abled persons and ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualifications (as on the date of Notification)
Associate Professor: LLM in relevant discipline with 55% marks (or equivalent), 8 years of teaching experience, minimum 7 publications, and a research score of 75 (as per UGC Regulations, 2018). NET/SLET/SET qualified or Ph.D. holder (with specific conditions for Ph.D. holders registered before July 11, 2009).
Assistant Professor: LLM in relevant discipline with 55% marks (or equivalent). NET/SLET/SET qualified or Ph.D. holder (with specific conditions for Ph.D. holders registered before July 11, 2009).
Assistant Professor (Pre-Law): MA in relevant discipline with 55% marks (or equivalent). NET/SLET/SET qualified or Ph.D. holder (with specific conditions for Ph.D. holders registered before July 11, 2009).
