Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
Full-time Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/ Electrical (Power) / Electrical & Electronics / Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical) / Civil/ Mechanical / Fire Technology and Safety from recognized Technical Board / Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
Higher Technical Qualification like B.Tech/B.E./ M.Tech / M.E. etc with or without Diploma is not allowed.
Required Experience: Safety Implementation
Minimum of one year post qualification experience in safety implementation at work sites is required.
Age Limit: As on 25.03.2025
Upper Age Limit: 29 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India directives for OBC (NCL), SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, and Victims of Riots.
Salary and Benefits: Compensation Details
Pay Band: Rs. 23,000-3%-1,05,000/-
Basic Pay: Rs. 23,000/- + IDA + HRA + Perks @35% of Basic Pay
Annual increment at the rate of 3% on successful completion of each year of engagement
Other benefits include HRA, reimbursement of official mobile call charges/rentals, coverage under EPF & EPS MP Act 1952, Payment of Gratuity 1972, medical benefits, and Group Personal Accident Insurance.

Important Points to Note
The engagement is purely temporary and contractual.
Candidates must register with the National Skills Registry (NSR) and provide the NSR registration number to POWERGRID.
Selections will be made on the basis of scrutiny of applications and a Screening Test.
Qualifying marks in the Screening Test: Minimum 40% for Unreserved including EWS and 30% for reserved vacancies.
Candidates can opt for the Screening Test in Hindi or English.
